The Doxology (Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow)
Written by Anglican bishop Thomas Ken in 1674 as the closing verse of his morning and evening hymns for the scholars of Winchester College.
Praise God, from whom all blessings flow;
Praise him, all creatures here below;
Praise him above, ye heavenly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.

About the prayer
Sung to the tune Old Hundredth, it became the single most widely used doxology in English-speaking Protestantism — the verse congregations sing over an offering, at the end of a meal, or at the close of a day.
