The Chaplet of the Holy Spirit
The Chaplet of the Holy Spirit takes its shape from the two great outpourings recorded in Scripture and from the seven gifts named by the prophet Isaiah (Isaiah 11:2-3).
Begin: Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Thy love.
V. Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created.
R. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth.
First part — in honor of the Holy Spirit's mission. On each of five groups, pray one Our Father and one Hail Mary, meditating on the Spirit descending upon Our Lady, upon the Apostles at Pentecost, upon the Church, upon the sacraments, and upon your own soul.
Second part — in honor of the seven gifts. On each of seven beads, pray one Glory Be, asking in turn for the gift of:
Wisdom. Understanding. Counsel. Fortitude. Knowledge. Piety. Fear of the Lord.
Conclude:
Let us pray. O God, who didst instruct the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, grant that by the gift of the same Spirit we may be always truly wise, and ever rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

About the prayer
It was promoted in the nineteenth century alongside Pope Leo XIII's encyclical Divinum Illud Munus (1897), which called for a renewal of devotion to the Holy Spirit throughout the Church. It is prayed especially in the days between the Ascension and Pentecost, and before confirmation.
