Prayer of the Desert Fathers

Lord, as you will and as you know, have mercy on me. Lord, help me, for I am weak and cannot help myself. Lord, save me, for I am your creature, and apart from you I perish. Not many words, but few and often, with a heart that does not wander; for God does not need our speeches, but our attention. Amen.
