Prayer to Forgive Those Who Have Wronged Me
A modern prayer of release built directly on the words of Christ from the Cross (Luke 23:34) and the petition of the Our Father.
Lord Jesus, You forgave from the Cross those who put You there. I bring before You now those who have hurt me. I choose to forgive them, as I have been forgiven.
Take from my heart every bitterness, every desire for revenge, and every memory that holds me captive. Heal what was wounded, and let no root of resentment remain.
Give me the grace to bless where I once cursed. Amen.
