God of all wisdom, at the beginning of this school year
we ask your blessing upon these students and teachers.
Open their minds to what is true,
their hearts to what is good,
and their hands to the service of others.
Give patience to those who teach
and perseverance to those who learn,
that all we study may lead us back to you,
the source of all truth.
