The Chaplet of the Precious Blood

Begin: O God, come to my assistance. O Lord, make haste to help me. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. The seven mysteries, honoring the seven times Our Lord shed His Blood. On each mystery, pray five Our Fathers (one Our Father on the seventh mystery), meditating on the mystery named: 1. The Circumcision of Our Lord. 2. The Agony in the Garden. 3. The Scourging at the Pillar. 4. The Crowning with Thorns. 5. The Carrying of the Cross. 6. The Crucifixion. 7. The Piercing of the Sacred Side. (One Our Father) Conclude: Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. V. Thou hast redeemed us, O Lord, in Thy Blood. R. And made us, for our God, a kingdom. Let us pray. Almighty and eternal God, Thou hast appointed Thine only-begotten Son the Redeemer of the world, and willed to be appeased by His Blood. Grant, we beseech Thee, that we may worthily adore this price of our salvation, and through its power be safeguarded from the evils of the present life, so that we may rejoice in its fruits forever in heaven.
