Prayer of St. Basil the Great Against Evil Spirits

O God of gods and Lord of lords, Creator of the fiery ranks and Fashioner of the fleshless powers, Artisan of heaven and of the things beneath it: Do Thou, O Master of all, deliver Thy servant from every attack of the enemy. Take away from him every trace of the evil one, every sorcery, every spell, every enchantment, and every work of the devil. Rebuke every unclean and blasphemous spirit that troubles him. Drive far from him every dark and impure power, and set Thine angel round about him, that no evil may come near his dwelling. For Thou art our God, the God who showest mercy and savest, and unto Thee do we send up glory, to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.
