A Prayer for a Peaceful Death

Lord Jesus, when my hour comes, do not let me face it alone. Take the fear. Ease the body. Let me be at peace with the people I love and with you. Forgive what needs forgiving. Let nothing go unsaid that should be said. Mary, Mother of God, pray for me now and at the hour of my death. Into your hands, Lord, I commend my spirit. Amen.
