Purification Prayer
A prayer of interior cleansing, prayed after confession or as a daily discipline.
Lord Jesus Christ, I ask You to purify me — my body, my soul, my mind, my heart, my memory and my imagination — of every stain of sin and every trace of the enemy's work.
Cleanse my eyes of what they should not have seen, my ears of what they should not have heard, my lips of what they should not have spoken, and my hands of what they should not have done.
Wash me in Your Precious Blood, fill me with Your Holy Spirit, and make of me a temple fit for Your dwelling. Purify my home, my possessions and all that is mine, and let nothing remain in me that gives the enemy a claim. Amen.

About the prayer
Its logic is the standard Catholic teaching that the enemy gains a foothold through unrepented sin and disordered attachment; remove the ground, and the influence has nothing to stand on. The successive purification of the senses reflects the penitential tradition of the Roman Rite, where the priest's prayer before the Gospel (Munda cor meum) asks cleansing of heart and lips before he may speak the sacred words.
