Blessed St. Anthony, gentle and powerful in your help, your love for God and charity for his creatures made you worthy on earth to possess miraculous powers.
Miracles waited on your word, which you were always ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to obtain for me the favor I now ask, that I may be restored to peace of mind and be able to give thanks to the God of the whole earth.

About the prayer
St. Anthony of Padua (1195–1231), a Franciscan and Doctor of the Church, gained his reputation as the finder of lost things after a runaway novice returned his stolen psalter. This short prayer is prayed both for material items and for what has been lost interiorly.
