Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary (33-Day Preparation) — Practice

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen. THE THIRTY-THREE DAYS Days 1-12 — Emptying the spirit of the world. Prayers: Veni Creator, Ave Maris Stella, Magnificat, Litany of the Holy Spirit. Reading and reflection on renouncing the spirit of the world. Days 13-19 — Knowledge of self. Prayers: Litany of the Holy Spirit, Ave Maris Stella, Litany of Loreto. Examination of conscience, sorrow for sin, humility. Days 20-26 — Knowledge of the Blessed Virgin. Prayers: Litany of the Holy Spirit, Ave Maris Stella, Litany of Loreto, the Rosary. Reflection on Mary's role in the plan of salvation. Days 27-33 — Knowledge of Jesus Christ. Prayers: Litany of the Holy Spirit, Ave Maris Stella, Litany of the Holy Name of Jesus, the Rosary. Reflection on Christ as the one end of all consecration. On the thirty-fourth day — a Marian feast — go to confession, receive Holy Communion, and make the Act of Consecration. Afterwards, renew the consecration each year on the same feast, and daily in a single line: I am all thine, and all that I have is thine, O most loving Jesus, through Mary, thy holy Mother.
