Commission of the Care of Soul and Body

Heavenly Father, I commit into Your hands the care of my soul and of my body. I ask You to assign to me the angels You have appointed for my defense, and to place under Your protection my mind and my will, my memory and my imagination, my senses and my strength, my sleep and my waking. What I cannot guard, guard for me. What I cannot see, see for me. What I cannot fight, fight for me. Into Your hands, O Lord, I commend my spirit. Amen.
