Perimeter Prayer
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I ask You to establish a perimeter of protection around my home and my property, around every room, every door and every window, and around every person who dwells here.
Let nothing evil cross it. Let no curse, no spirit, no influence of the enemy enter here. Cleanse this place of anything that does not belong to You, and fill it with Your peace.
Send Your holy angels to stand at every boundary and keep watch. Blessed Virgin Mary, spread your mantle over this house. St. Michael the Archangel, guard its gates. Amen.

About the prayer
A prayer for the home, drawn from the ancient Christian practice of blessing a dwelling and marking its boundaries — a custom preserved in the Roman Ritual's blessing of houses and in the Epiphany chalking of the door. Its foundation is the Passover of Exodus 12, where the marked doorposts of the household turn the destroyer aside. As a lay prayer it is petition, not blessing in the strict sense: a lay person asks God to protect the home, while the blessing of a house with sacramentals belongs to a priest.
