A Prayer for the Protection of the Home

Lord God, set a guard about this house. Bless the doors and windows, the rooms where we sleep and the table where we eat. Let no harm come to those who live here or those who visit. Drive far from this place every fear, every evil, and every quarrel that would divide us. Send your holy angels to keep watch through the night, and let us wake in your peace. For you, Lord, alone make us dwell in safety. Amen.
