A Prayer for Doctors, Nurses, and Caregivers

Lord Jesus, physician of soul and body, bless those who care for the sick. Give them clear minds at the end of long shifts and compassion that does not wear out. Guide their hands and their judgment. Where they must give bad news, give them gentleness. Where they lose a patient, give them peace. Guard them from bitterness and burnout, and let them see your face in everyone they treat. Amen.
