Breaking the Spirit of Death

Lord Jesus Christ, You are the Resurrection and the Life. By the power of Your Cross and Your Precious Blood, I renounce and reject every spirit of death that has come upon me or my family. I renounce every wish for death, every despair, every thought of suicide, every fascination with darkness, and every word spoken over us that carried death. Break its power, Lord. Speak life over us as You spoke life over Lazarus. Let us choose life, that we and our children may live. Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Living, pray for us. Amen.
