Prayer for Freedom from Bondage

Father, You have delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of Your beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. So I ask You: let what is true of me in Christ be true of me in fact. Where I am still bound, set me free. Where I am still afraid, give me the Spirit of adoption. Where I still live as a slave, remind me that I am a son. It is for freedom that Christ has set me free; let me not submit again to a yoke of slavery. If the Son sets me free, I am free indeed. Lord Jesus, speak that freedom over me now, and let me walk in it. Amen.
