Prayer Against Oppression

Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You under a weight I cannot lift. By the power of Your Cross and Your Precious Blood, I ask You to lift from me every oppression of the enemy — every heaviness of spirit, every cloud upon my mind, every crushing of my hope, every weariness that is not my own. You said Your yoke is easy and Your burden light. Take from me what is not Yours to give, and give me instead Your peace. Send Your angels to bear me up. Blessed Virgin Mary, Comforter of the Afflicted, pray for me. Amen.
