In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Heavenly Father, we ask You to send Your angels to protect the priests who labor in the ministry of deliverance and exorcism, and all who assist them. Guard them from every retaliation of the enemy, in their persons, their families and their work. Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen. Our Lady, Help of Christians, pray for us. Saint Joseph, Terror of Demons, pray for us. All you holy angels and saints, pray for us. Eternal rest grant unto the souls of the faithful departed, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen.

About the prayer

Chad Ripperger and erected in the Diocese of Tulsa, whose members pray daily for the protection of exorcists, deliverance ministers and their families. The daily prayers were included as Part Four of Deliverance Prayers: For Use by the Laity. The title itself comes from the Litany of Loreto and from Pope Pius VII, who instituted the feast of Our Lady Help of Christians in 1815 in thanksgiving for his release from captivity.
