Novena to St. Padre Pio

Pray each day for nine days: O God, Thou gavest St. Pio of Pietrelcina, Capuchin priest, the great privilege of participating in a unique way in the passion of Thy Son. Grant me, through his intercession, the grace of (state your intention), which I ardently desire; and above all grant me the grace of living in conformity with the death of Jesus, to arrive at the glory of the resurrection. Beloved Padre Pio, who didst spend thy life in prayer and in the confessional, pouring out the mercy of God upon countless souls: pray for me, that I may know that same mercy, and never lose heart.
