A Prayer of Renunciation and Recommitment

Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You as I am, and I make my choice again today. I renounce every agreement I have made with the enemy — every lie I have believed about myself, about others and about You. I renounce every bitterness I have nursed, every fear I have obeyed, and every place where I have handed over ground that belonged to You. I take it back in Your name. I forgive those who have wounded me, and I ask forgiveness of those I have wounded. I give You my body, my mind, my will, my past and my future. Be Lord of every part of me, including the parts I have kept back. Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides You. Amen.
